Join us Saturday, October 24 from 11 AM to 1 PM to build a Memorial to Local Victims of Gun Violence at Saint Mark
In 2014, 155 people in D.C. and surrounding counties died from wounds inflicted by a gun. On Saturday, October 24 from 11 AM to 1 PM
Saint Mark will join with Heeding God’s Call—a faith-based organization to stop gun violence—to install a memorial to honor these victims at our church. This project will include installing 155 crosses outside the church upon which a t-shirt with the names of each victim will hang. We are looking for volunteers of all ages to assist.
