Supported Non-profit Agencies
We provide support to non-profit Montgomery County agencies in two ways. First and most important, we encourage our congregation to serve with the agencies. Saint Mark is a church of Spirit and Service and our relationship with agencies has a strong service component. Second, we provide financial support. Through the generosity of our congregation we are able to provide much-needed funding for those agencies we feel are most deserving.
We encourage members of our congregation to volunteer to serve with the following agencies:
Interfaith Works Interfaith Works provides clothing, shelter, family services and vocational services to those in need in Montgomery County.
Action in Montgomery AIM promotes social justice in Montgomery County.
Bethesda Cares Bethesda Cares provides financial and food assistance to those in need in Montgomery County.
Family Services Family Services provides Health Services to families in Montgomery County.

Habitat for Humanity Habitat for Humanity builds low cost housing in Montgomery County.
A Wider Circle A Wider Circle helps families dealing with homelessness or fleeing domestic abuse by providing furniture and other household goods when families move to a new home.
