Supported Non-profit Agencies
We provide support to non-profit Montgomery County agencies in two ways. First and most important, we encourage our congregation to serve with the agencies. Saint Mark is a church of Spirit and Service and our relationship with agencies has a strong service component. Second, we provide financial support. Through the generosity of our congregation we are able to provide much-needed funding for those agencies we feel are most deserving.
We encourage members of our congregation to volunteer to serve with the following agencies:
Interfaith Works provides clothing, shelter, family services and vocational services to those in need in Montgomery County.
Action in Montgomery
AIM promotes social justice in Montgomery County.
Bethesda Cares provides financial and food assistance to those in need in Montgomery County.
Family Services provides Health Services to families in Montgomery County.
Rebuilding Together Montgomery County

Habitat for Humanity

A Wider Circle
A Wider Circle helps families dealing with homelessness or fleeing domestic abuse by providing furniture and other household goods when families move to a new home.
The congregation of Saint Mark provides financial support for all the agencies listed above. In addition, we provide financial support to:
